Texas Ryano

We are excited to stand our homebred Texas Ryano at Arroyo Vista Farm. A TDN Rising Star after winning his first start at a mile at Santa Anita as a young three-year-old, Texas Ryano went on to win and place in multiple graded stakes races. The Williamson family, (owners of Texas Ryano), has enjoyed great success over the years with breeding operations in Kentucky and in California. The cornerstones of that success were mares like Blending Element, trained by Carla Gaines, who not only had a successful graded stakes-winning campaign on the racetrack, but was just as successful as a broodmare. Texas Ryano, the only graded stakes winning son of Champion Curlin on the West Coast, is also the son of the mare Blending Element, and carries forward both parents' winning traditions. Texas Ryano, with his limited numbers of foals, has produced one of the highest winning percentages of his young progeny from 5 1/2 furlong sprints to a mile on the turf, on turf, dirt and synthetic surfaces.

Texas Ryano is siblings to graded stakes winners such as Tiz Elemental, Tiz A Blend, War Element, Holladay Road and Excessive Blend. His offspring continue to have the size and scope that provides encouragement for all breeders and owners for future success.
